Colin Rodgers

Nordic Director

Colin, a Westford, Vermont native is a long time ski competitor, and a graduate of Middlebury College. In 2004 he captained the Nordic Team when the Middlebury Ski Team won the Overall Eastern Collegiate Ski Championship. He raced at an elite level for seven years post college, which included over ten FIS World Cup starts. In 2009 he won the SuperTour Sprint Title and in 2011 the sprint qualifier at U.S. Nationals.

Colin joins us from Ketchum, Idaho where he spent ten years both competing and coaching for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. There he oversaw the SVSEF XC Gold Team, which is a world class group of post collegiate athletes that competes and trains both domestically and internationally.

Katrina Howe

Nordic Coach

From an active family, "Kat" began nordic competition in middle school and went on to compete at the University of Vermont, representing the Catamounts twice at NCAAs. After graduating in 2009, Kat picked up shooting and spent a year with the US Biathlon team at the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center before joining the Maine Winter Sports Center in 2010. Based out of Fort Kent, Maine, Kat earned five US National Championships and one North American title over the next five seasons. An outdoor sports enthusiast, Kat loves the diversity that training for nordic sports allows and enjoys sharing her love for skiing with the GMVS community.
